THERAPIES
Here are some of the therapies we provide.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, or whether you have a preferred modality that you do not see listed here.
Hanna Somatic Education
Hanna Somatic Education is an innovative neuromuscular reeducation movement therapy designed to lengthen muscles that have become chronically contracted due to prolonged exposure to stress or injury.
Cranial-Sacral Therapy
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a gentle method of detection and correction that encourages your own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system.
Zero Balancing
Zero Balancing (ZB) is a hands-on bodywork system designed to align your energy body with your physical structure. Gentle yet powerful, it focuses on your whole person, even when addressing specific needs. Considered at the leading edge of body/mind therapies, ZB moves beyond Western scientific approaches to body structure by incorporating Eastern concepts of energy and healing.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), developed by Paul St. John, is a comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system (brain, spinal column and nerves) with the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system.
Chair Massage
A Chair Massage is performed by licensed massage therapists who use a combination of deep tissue and Swedish massage techniques, usually on the muscle groups in the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. It is performed while the client is fully clothed, making it ideal for an office setting or other less-than-private locations.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the enhancement of mind, body and spirit with the use of aromatic, botanical essential oils, either in conjunction with other modalities of treatment or as a stand-alone treatment.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is what most people think of as “massage.” Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle “knots” or adhesions.
